This Zuni Turtle & Silver Necklace is a lovely example of stone inlay work for which Zuni artists are so renowned.
The base of this pendant is a hand carved, onyx turtle. His shell is then created out of the most beautifully executed inlaid stone work. It features turquoise, malachite, lapis lazuli, coral & amethyst.
The pendant is then strung on a liquid silver necklace, with brightly colored bead accents adding extra details to the lower portion.
The necklace itself measures 26 inches in length. The turtle measures 1.75 inches in length by 1.38 inches in width.
