Please note this is exactly the coin you will receive.
In 1879 Morgan Dollars were produced with two different reverse variations. The first being the Reverse of 1878, was a continuation of the previous year, featuring a flat-breasted eagle and a flat feather on the top fletch of the arrows. The second, the Reverse of 1879 features an eagle with a nice, rounded breast and a slanted feather on the top fletch of the arrows.
The obverse depicts Liberty wear the Phrygian cap, with the word "liberty" featured on the band. Meanwhile the reverse features a bald eagle clutching arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other.
Morgan Dollars were minted from 1878-1904 and then again in 1921. The 1904 represents the last production of this denomination at the New Orleans Mint.
