Please note this is exactly the watch you will receive.
This is an 18k Gold Pocket Watch. The actual watch itself is a Brown London 952. Both the case and the movement are marked with this serial number.
The watch is presented with its original box and key. It originates from the Waterbury Watch Company Factory in Waterbury Connecticut and it runs great so it's in full working order.
The case is stamped J.H and that stands for John Henry who was from Pennsylvania.
The production year for the watch itself (movement,) was between 1879 and 1898. Meanwhile the outer case was made sometime between 1850 and 1860. These cases were all handcrafted.
The case alone without the movement or crystal weighs 44.1 grams of 18 k gold so it's a heavy watch. It's believed to be a size 10 in terms of watch standards and the movement is a little over 38 mm diameter.
