First minted in 1997, the 1 oz American Platinum Eagles are prized by collectors and investors alike. The 1 oz BU was suspended for several years but continued again in 2016.
The obverse features an exquisitely detailed depiction of the Statue of Liberty. Meanwhile the reverse features the American Bald Eagle flying against the sunset.
