The coin is themed around the eternal battle between good and evil. The obverse In this case shows that struggle in the form of a golden eagle battling a serpent. Meanwhile the reverse features the effigy of Malta. Around the edge is the pertinent information such as the denomination, weight, purity and country of issue.
