The Germania Mint 2023 Valkyries Ostara 1 oz Silver (BU) is the second release in the Valkyries series.
The Valkyries series features Germanic goddesses, daughters of Odin, who according to Germanic mythology supported the bravest warriors who fell in battle.
Ostara is associated with spring and new life. On the obverse Ostara is depicted with both a hare and a deer, symbols of fertility. The reverse features not only Germania Mint's beautiful coat of arms with the bicephalous eagle, but also a stag. Pertinent information such as the year, weight, purity and denomination are also included in this shield like design.
The Valhalla version of this coin has a mintage of just 999 with a multi metal plated finish. It's presented in a capsule, inside of a themed blister pack with its dedicated certificate of authenticity.
