These Lena Platero Navajo Silver & Sodalite Earrings are everyday earrings for the summer but most notably with lovely focal gemstones.
The stones used here are sodalites and are most often darker than the shade seen here. These have a slightly mottled shading, which is typical of sodalite, but is very evocative of a clear summer sky. The stones themselves are framed with braided silver details that are so characteristic of this Navajo artist's work.
The earrings themselves measure 3/4 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch. Meanwhile they weigh 7.1 grams.
